The MadMike Gathering is something I organise twice a year. The second one for this year will be on Sunday the 9th September. The venue is The Bulls Head at Leicester Forest West. It is on the A47 in Leicestershire and is about 3 or 4 miles north of Mallory Park. All classic bikes including Enfields from both England and the Empire are welcome, particularly if they bring their rider with them. Other calssics are also invited. This is an informal gathering where hopefully you might meet some old friends and equally hopefully you might make some new ones. The Bulls Head is not a "Bikers Pub" but is a family pub often inhabited by real human beings. The beer selection is good and there is also tea and coffe. The food selection varies from a sandwich to large steaks, and there is also a Sunday carvery. Start time 11;00am and it finishes when the last person, usually me, goes home. A goodly number from here came to the last one in May and I look forward to seeing them again plus hoprfully many others. Please come and introduce yourself to the Mad one.

Hi Mike----enjoyed the meeting earlier this year and will be attending this one also. Will try to get others along ( BSA B40 Ex-Army = 2 off plus various others).

I'm going to try really hard to come to this one Mike - seeing as it is all of 7 miles for me to get there. My 'Empire' Enfield should just about make it.......
My mate with the Honda Bros 400 wants to come and play too!

Noel, I don't know is the honest answer. Due to unforseen cics I am forced to go to The Bulls Head tonight for dinner, so I shall speak to my friend Alan and see if he can help out. Answer on here late tonight on tomoprrow morning if that is OK.

Noel I missed Alan, mine host, at the weekend but have managed to speak to him tonight. There is a garden at the rear of the pub and he is happy to have 2 tents there for the Saturday night. There is also a tarmac parking area within the garden to park your bike and a set of gates for overnight security. Let me know before the event your ETA and I will meet you there to get you set up in the garden. Hope tgis helps.
