Hi Paul, Noel and Chris. That lagar I drank must have been stronger than your shandy, and I don't normally drfink lagar! The 3rd Sundy could be right, I wasn't sure as it followed the 3rd Saturday of the month's regular run. Lynn thinks it's the 3rd Sunday as well. As I couldn't go on the Sunday run anyway because I walk Sunday's with my walking club, I didn't take much notice. By the way Noel, regarding your friend in the cylinder head business, sounds a good idea. Go for it I say! It's a good job I can add up, or I couldn't take part in these conversations.

Hi Paul, Noel and Chris, as I belong to a Sunday rambling club, I can't do the Rides that day, so I wasn't taking enough notice. I thought those rides were for you guys, so I suggest you simply decide between you and go for it! Good job I can do sums, or I couldn't take part in these messages.

I'm totally confused, Lynn thinks that the regular runs out would be 3rd Sunday of a month, and that I would forgo my walks on that day, being only once a month, but this month being too short a notice, you let us have it Saturday instead. In other words, after March, they would be Sunday's. The Rivington idea was when a run out to a fixwd route would fit into Sunday runs with those to Devil's Bridge and Rivington etc. Does this sound as it was discussed at the meeting?

hi john you seem totally confused being a centre co ordinator does that to you!!! i usually don,t know what day it is ,anyway joking aside just advertise your runs and rideouts here as lots of people use this site ,we can all liase and get there in the end all the best paul. p.s ive never been to rivington barn all though i,ve heard a lot about it i know its a mecca for bikers like squires cafe over this side of the hill.

Now Im getting really confused I thought the rivi meet was an impromptu meet on the 3rd sunday which was  when we were not going out on an organised run.

Hi everyone. 


I have just spoken to John. I think this is what most people were thinking.....


In order to clarify:


1st Tuesday of the month: Meeting at the Birch Hotel, Heywood. 7:30pm.


3rd Sunday of the month:  Anybody can meet up at Rivington Top-Barn.  (Or Lower-Barn if Top is shut.)            Just turn up. Of course, use the Message Board if you want, to see if anyone else is planning to be there or whatever.


Ride-outs: Any time, as planned in meetings.

hi all,we are going for a ride to rivington barn tomorrow,sunday 11th march up to press me & kevin are meeting noel at his house at 1pm,this will not affect the planned ride next sunday,which is the 3rd sunday of the month meet at rivington as disscussed here on this thread,and at your meeting last tuesday,your very lucky to have confusion it means theres interest!!! all the best paul west riding reoc
