There seems to be a certain word-blindness that people experience: a helpful form member says "upload your picture to a picture-hosting web site, go the the picture codes copy the HTML code back onto the forum here" and once again the hopeful picture poster inevitably posts the forum code INSTEAD of the HTML despite of what they were told and finds "Oh look, no picture". I was doing this myself to start with, WHY DO WE DO THIS?

Incidentally, I'd no longer recommend Imagesia as a photo hosting site, they're only letting people post thumbnail pictures which you have to click on to see the full size item. Not very high on the scale of world disasters, but an annoyance never the less.

Sorry, despite, not "despite of". Apart from the peculiarity of only accepting pictures in HTML, this forum still sadly lacks the facility to edit what you've mis-typed, mis-corrected, or just got plain wrong. When transition to the new-style web site is complete we may have this facility.

Walter. It would work.. if you got the html for websites instead of being transfixed with the IMG tag for forums. This site uses HTML..

Here's your pic..

So just to recap for Walter, it's ***ONLY*** the HTML code and absolutely *** NOT*** the forum code, even though it is for a forum (Other forums aren't this fussy).

If whoever is kind enough to volunteer the information next time would also like to emphasise and stress that little niggle (just lay it on with a trowel, gents), we could perhaps save a some frustration for new hopefuls and a lot of repetition by the regulars. Leon's information was absolutely correct, but the counter-intuitive nature of this forum sometimes requires a little more. Déjà vu, anybody?
