The black does look good with the sidecar. That is going to turn a few heads as it chugs by. Nice one Sunny!

Hi Sunshine,
I think you may have a problem registering the sidecar outfit as the rules will only register new left hand sidecars, However I think there is a loophole if built before 1981. Also (a pet hate of mine) make sure it is correctly geared for a sidecar, it will run better on hills etc. Vince

Sunshine, can I as why the sidecar has been fitted so far away from the bike? It looks as if it could fitted 6 inches closer, which would improve the rigidity and the handling.

Hi again, Looking at the photo again Papasmurf is correct, the fittings need to be shortened as outfit is far to wide. You may find it arrives with the sidecar detached anyway to fit in packing case. Vince

I bought one of these Indian motorcycles second hand. It was supposed to be a 1964 model but turned out to be a 1995 and just made to look much older than it was. It had registration and was going, just. I bought it cheap and have been rebuilding it over the past 6 months. It is ready to all go together now and with all that I have done it should be a good little bike. Original run out on the crank shafts was timing side 7thou and on the drive side 10 thou. but all fixed up now.

Evening,
just fitted an Amal 26mm carb new from the owners of the forum, very nice too. The Mikcarb was poor quality and often leaked.
Currently repainting the grab handle, regulator mounting bar and electrics underseat cover before fitting a Boyer Bransden rectifier/regulator.
Also have a Boyer Bransden electronic ignition to fit in the next couple of weeks, then off for the MOT.
It will be road tax free next year.....
Engine is sweet and virtually oil leak free, but I haven't done a lot of miles. The Royals Enfield timing cover remains leak free.....

Happy to see more peeps are chancing their arm with Madaan motors, it worked for me.
