Hi CGT 535,
I'm not ready to sell yet, need to obtain a replacement yet, but will have to go before end of June 2016, possibly before but don't know yet.
Thunderbolt was registered as new, 24 June 2013 BUT was built about July 2010, spending three years hanging around somewhere between factory and dealers.
He looks black but in good light or sun, he is a beautiful metallic type deep green.
The exhaust pipe which will stop most conversations.
the places we have been, the fun had, taught me how to actually get out and live again!
If you get stuck for something to do, pack some food in a backpack, get on Thunderbolt and just go.
I can pretty much guarantee that you won't end up wherever you thought you were going to go.
You see, it's a Woodsman, and is rather fond of the woods.
Thunderbolt will take you to many interesting places...
And create interest wherever he goes!
My 'New' Woodsman wasn't and I found some evidence that the engine had either leaked or had been opened for some reason. Whatever happened during those three years must have done the bike some good as apart from the standard tail lamp assembly falling off, (Loctit'ed now)I have never had a problem with starting or running what seems to be an unexpectedly powerful EFI. I only ever tried the performance twice, and reached 86MPH very quickly, but only stayed there for a few seconds due to the warnings on here about over revving.
I am only here for parts of year. Winter is usually out as too much snow. Summer is local rides and days out... It hasn't even done 3000 miles yet!
I do not know how long you have been visiting the forum, but the most accurate details about the bike and it's history are my poems.
Scaly's junk parts 1, 3 and 4 will tell you just about everything. Part 2 is Tornado, my older bullet.
If you want to see Thunderbolt from delivery (ROugh tickover as not run in at that point, barely run in now.) to present, visit my youtube channel

That bike wanted for nothing! Neolite with motorvision bulb that virtually bleaches the car in front white... Lithium-ion battery - no gels, no acid, high capacity and fully charges from flat in 6-7 minutes with standard lead acid charger. Ensign universal knobbly tyres - some guys say they slide in the wet, but I had no problems, see the snow and ice vid!
Comes with extremely neat Woodsman high level, legal but ruddy nice sounding exhaust system. Sump 'thump & bump' engine protection plate. Mostly LED lamps except indicator and headlamp.
A very, very fun bike. great character, trusted steed.
