Hello NORM---------Ah, mis-understanding there----I meant that I've already spent considerable time and money on this one that it'd be a shame not to get the big-end repaired and see it back in service again......Alas my workshops are not set-up for a one-off crank re-build and balance BUT I know a man ( Shh, WHISPER his name) who can..........So a "short" engine will be delivered along with the relevant parts already obtained from our good hosts....Now then, has anybody got some spare bits of that scarce engineering thing called}--Time ??

Alan if you were out here we would have it running tomorrow afternoon providing you had a bigend bearing to put in, main bearing I get from just up the road and providing the barrel and piston are ready to go, half a day and the motor is pretty much back together
