If you can't beat 'em, join 'em - so I'm off skiing on Easter Sunday for a week! At least it will be sunny. Can you please arrange for spring to have arrived when I come back. I had to charge the battery on the Woodsman last weekend through lack of use, so I'm desperate to get some miles on it. hi john i,ve read motorcycle cavalcade it was very good especially the last chapter ,i will return the books to the june meeting as i will be away for the april & may meetings got to get my holidays in!!not skiing though atb paul.

We had a flurry of snow back in feb which lasted 5 minutes.

hi gwilly unfortunately no pictures of snow i,ve seen enough of the stuff the first snow i saw this winter was encountered on the way to the lincoln autojumble in october it was freezing but the diesel bullet got me there when paying at the gate the bloody throttle cable snapped so i was fitting my spare with very cold hands not good then i rode back home around 50 miles with teeth chattering!!our road which is on a large hill reminds me of the cresta run and its bloody freezing with winds from siberia blasting my enfield empire,the only thing i have to look forward to is chris eating juans pants can,t wait to see that!!!

snow and more snow been out 12 nights up to now trying to put grit down in 4 ft drifts not easy when bollards
