nice 1 noel!todays ride had 5 riders 3 solo,s and 2 combinations 1 combi a very nice bmw outfit owned by kevin ,we started off in west yorkshire ,first port of call was silkstone church in where we met a guy who has a 61 bullet but it hasn,t been on the road for 5 years then on to conisborough for a mining memorial ,from there to the end of the runway at robin hood airport ,through a small part of nottinghamshire over to a turf maze in east lincolnshire near flixborough then over the humber bridge eastyorkshire the weather the was fine in gods country west/south yorkshire spitting rain in notts &east lincs then torrential rain &snow in east yorks i finished off by going through north yorkshire down the A1 then back to nice dry weather in south yorks i didn,t clock the mileage but it was well over 100 ,all bikes ran like clockwork i,m very impressed with how the electra is running after all my customising although if i had done the ride on the diesel i might have used a gallon the helectra used considerably more although i caned it down the A1 like the goose on mad max ,so to all who attended i salute you and look forward to our next day out atb paul. p.s anybody visiting the humber bridge viewing point all the shops cafe and ice cream shop were all closed we had to go to the pub on the foreshore where i had a pint of speckled hen at great cost !!
