Took the 2006 500 Classic out yesterday following a minor gearbox rebuild to replace a footchange spring (again). 'Twas only a run into work, but in half term week (no traffic!!) and lovely mold weather. Bike had that beautiful loose acceleration that only big singles provide, started first kick, idled like a steam single. Lovely exhaust noise. Perfect...all was well and it gave that superb feeling that only an Enfield can give...bliss.CheersTimG

Spring?  It can't be, it snowed here today!


I went out last weekend - a couple of hours ride meant a couple of hours cleaning, so maybe not quite spring north of the border yet.


Bike is all shiny again though....waiting for a nice day.

Shame that I have to sell her but I have a new project that I need the space for.
