Probably not news to most people who visit this message board but I can't recommend a visit to the National Motorcycle Museum too much. As a novice restorer trying to restore an old 500 twin the Enfields on display were invaluable for seeing even minor details like cable runs etc. I wish I had seen the cutaway Meteor six months ago when I started my project. There was a lot of good, friendly advice. I would recommend a visit to anybody who has not been. Definitely up there along with our hosts and other message board contributors as a great help to me.
