A couple of days ago I was going over my ratchets just a strip clean and relube
Then I noticed a screw missing on one of my most used on further inspection I noticed the screw had broken in the bottom plate and dropped out (hopefully not into anyone's engine)
This morning my Ann wanted me to take her shopping in Aldi
Next door to Aldi is a Halfords now this ratchet was one of the old pro range that were just marked Halfords so nothing too lose I took along the old ratchet
Entering the shop I was asked if I needed any help so I showed him my old ratchet the fella looked at it said he had never seen a ratchet with the chrome worn off before!
Then he said that's a old pro ratchet I'll get you a new one
Wonder if I will be around long enough to wear the chrome off the new one?
Did I say no charge no wait just "I'll get you a new one"
