Just over a year ago my mum bought me a model G (de luxe/aka clipper) as a restoration project in order to keep me "quiet" for a while..
within a month i'd got the engine working and was regularly raiding my Triumph "parts bin"
The rear number plate is from a Triumph T110, the silencer from a T90, front mudguard from a T140, front number plate is Tiger Cub
The rear mudguard & carrier came from Hitchcocks Bullet Catalogue. The single saddle is an entirely home made affair, I made the seat pan and then mum taught me how to use her vintage hand operated sewing machine so that I could make a seat cover. The ignition was converted to a Thorspark (cunningly hidden) & the carburation taken care of by a mk1 concentric premiere; the triumph parts bin was raided for the air filter. The side stand is from an Indian made Bullet.
Probably not to everyones taste but its possibly the best & most reliable bike I've ever owned, sweet as a nut, gets me wherever I want to go and more importantly gets me home
