They skimmed my drum and fitted custom linings - now a different bike !

OOppss------ sorry about that Wayne, I should have realised the final part of my listing was effectively an advert for a spare front wheel that I have for sale and as such was a breach of Hitchcocks policy.....and quite right too..........But could you not have just edited the offending part and left the rest in situ ??...after all there was nothing wrong with the contents of that part, was there ??.................For those who missed it I was suggesting that Gardener be mindful that brake drum linings are not all that thick to start with, and when they have been skimmed any new linings will always have to be "Custom" made and will need to match the new, bigger diameter.... Maybe he might consider purchasing a spare complete front wheel instead which would be cheaper that paying a machinists costs I would have thought ( Hence the part about me having a spare wheel for sale...now since edited out )........Am I forgiven ??
