Great video Chris! This time of year, though short days and cool in the shadows is perfect for our kind of bikes. And that area, right on the Wales/England border is not nearly as well known as it deserves.

Cheers. Yes, an excellent part of the world. I went out around there a few weeks before on my Triumph Daytona, but the only sunshine was from the Daytona's yellow paint! Looks a different place in the sunshine. Episode 3 coming up very shortly.

Good video Chris. I can not believe how narrow those roads are and the hedges so close along the sides gives no place to go if something happens. I would be worrying about a big dog or a deer jumping out of the bushes in front of my motorcycle with such a narrow road which really looks like a lane way rather than a road there is no way of avoiding a collision. I suppose it is what you get used to and the food at the road house is certainly worth the risk.

Hi Guys---------Hello BINARY....Yes, this is an area close to the border with Wales known as The Stiperstones ( https://www.visitshropshirehills.co.uk/ ... perstones/ ).........and as I live in Telford it is practically my "back garden" so to speak.........Untill recently a motorcycling Vicar friend of mine lived along Plox Green road, Minsterly....He's an avid BSA Bantam fan and we would often go for a Saturday ride in and around this lovely part of the Midlands ( Sundays he was "Working" !! so couldn't ride.. )..

Chris's excellent video really captures the ideal Bullet-riding roads and I recognise that tea shoppe as well......Up on The Long Mynd is a Glider Club where Joyce and I have had quite a few exciting flights....Really idyllic in the Spring--Summer--Autumn but come Winter and you'll need knobbly tyres and heavy-duty all-weather clothing to ride the same routes as it's quite high up......The sheep seem to manage though....

The Long Monday at its highest is only around 500 feet, but, as Alan says, come winter it can get a bit iffy. However, that's when my Land Rover Defender comes into his own! Those that are interested, check out my Land Rovering videos in the same areas along ucr's and the odd byway. Chris.
