A lot of factors affect premiums; this is why comparing what one pays with other people is largely pointless. Just shop around; what suits me might be expensive for other people. Anyone remember Clover Leaf? You used to pay them monthly (for monthly cover). A friend of mine insured his E type Jaguar through them at 20 years old. Lord knows what the annual premium amounted to but, hey, he was living the dream...
