Evening folks,

Any hints, tips or tricks for getting back to showroom condition (other than dismantling and having vapour blasted!)

Thanks you.

I never ride my Bullet 350 in the winter it is in the shed from October - March. Every October I do all the maintainance
including coating the cylinder with black gloss paint which I obtain from Wyldes in Leeds. Over the years the cylinder
has developed a lovely deep black gloss finish which contrasts nicely with the alloy head. Try it you won't be
disappointed.

AS PeterF says; also, 0000 grade steel wool with Silvo if the aluminium is highly polished. This grade will not harm glass (windscreens etc) Heat-proof engine enamel is available at Auto Accessories stores. Be aware that too thick a coat of paint will affect cylinder cooling, bare metal is best, but a thinned coating will be ok.

If it's in showroom condition you won't want to use it. Ride it, look after it and it'll look right.
