Hollyville cafe report, 16th. August 2016

This week features a French Motoconfort from 1933, a very shiny triumph, and a Vincent H.R.D. pops in for a visit too!

Other features include a very period looking maroon triumph / Watsonian combination, plus a very nice Ariel colt which is a smaller bike, but very nicely proportioned.

There were three RE's this visit. Altogether, 45 minutes of bikes to just sit back, listen and watch.

Excellent stuff again Scaly - I loved the HRD too by the way - but that yellow combination with the little front wheel looked well strange! That BSA B44/B50 trials combo looked well 'ard also!
Did you notice the kick-back when the French Motoconfort was being started? What sized engine was that? .....and did it have a foot-clutch? (gulp!)
Keep up the good work mate.

If I remember correctly the Motoconfort had a small foot lever on the left hand side which had a cable as well to a lever on the handle bars which we assumed was a clutch

I believe the owner said it was a 250cc, and looking closely, I also believe that the clutch is operated by the left foot.

The lever on the handlebars may be the back brake?

Scaly there is a place near Pontarlier called St Croix Swiss side, and almost next to there is a place called Bullet, may'be it's full of Enfield riders. Welcome to Bullet a great place for you and your Bullet . Never managed to get there just noticed it on the map going to Gruyeres.
