OK.. only very minor problems. Could it be that the fuel light is actually a low fuel warning light? Thanks for getting back to us..

Trouble free - in 1000 miles no mechanicals, some blown bulbs and fuses due to poor quality, replaced clutch cable because oem went spongy.

Some loosening of electrical connectors and bolts from new but no recurrence.

Thanks for the tip on the loctite, I'll retighten the nuts next time its hot. Anything that's worked a bit loose and been done up again hasn't worked loose since - all minor stuff and i'm really enjoying riding it

Jerseyplm, You have not had the rear light and numberplate assembly drop off yet? That was the first thing to happen when I got Thunderbolt, my first and still missed EFI RE.

I don't like the railway buffer look of the tail lamp assy but RE seem to have learnt to tighten the two bolts up inside the mudguard. It does look like a moisture trap and probably deserves a squirt of Waxoyl, when I get a tuit.
