You're right Scaly, I was referring to "normal" m'ways. The M25 is subnormal. Unfortunately coming from a northerly direction heading to Dover there is little alternative. With a couple of friends (not my suggestion) did once use the Woolwich Ferry but not again. Getting to the ferry was OK, the ferry was OK but on the other side driving standards were appalling. It is actually good for me to do things like that occasionally it reminds me why I buggered off from the London M25 area vowing never to return.
