Some of you will know Gordon May as the author of numerous books about Royal Enfields, many available from this site. Gordon is also an intrepid overland motorcyclist, not on bloated German "adventure bikes" but much more humble British machines. Just to echo Mark's comment, Gordon is a really nice guy - he came along to our local VMCC Section in Februay and gave us a talk on Overland to India on a 1954 350 Bullet. Very entertaining, and several of us bought his book with the same name. This trip is on a Matchless and he's having gearbox problems

Well worth a visit.
