Here is the dilapidated remains of my bike, used in the early 1980s. It's still languishing in the shed. I fixed it up with a car battery at the back, bolted onto a frame made of brass curtain rail and a Morris starter motor rubbing on the front wheel for power. A single jump lead connected to the chrome handlebar for GO and onto the rubber bit to knock the power OFF. Bike frame for earth. My brother-in-law got stopped by the police one evening, gliding this pushbike up-hill but I don't think they wanted the paperwork so let him go, in a small shower of sparks.
