Modern styling is there for the manufactures to sell bikes!,

When I was young , a bike looked like a bullet, ot at least had spoked wheels. The younger guys that are buying them now, were brought up on "fisher-price" and "transformers".

I'm not saying that there has not been innovation, but in order to sell their bikes to that generation, they now need to look like the free toy from a 'Happy meal"

The baby "F Supersport" is nice and I might get one when I can no longer hold up and handle my real "F's" because they are a heavy machine but so reliable and I can get off them easier than an Enfield

Hi all, the new Honda is called an NC700DCT (Duel clutch transmission), it also sports a six speed auto box and is a dream to ride, most of the plastic is functional, the fuel tank is under/behind the rider seat ( the fuel filler is under the pillion seat ) and the "not tank" as it's known is actually a box big enough for a crash hat and also contains a tool roll, very useful ( the box I mean, the tool roll is pointless as it's a Honda therefore dosnt go wrong), the sticky out bits at the front appear to serve no purpose other than copy the BMW GS series but just behind them the raised bits are, I believe air intakes, other bits of plastic cover all manor of computers and wiring, also it's plastic coat makes for very easy cleaning, overall it gives the same ear to ear smile when risen as Bertie does, just dreading the insurance quote due any time now !!!
