Hello. I am thinking of fitting the Boyer ignition to my 1995 350 Bullet, have any of you guys fitted one and are there any reasons not to.

No reasons not to & good reasons to do. ... Fitted Boyer to 1992 Bullet 500, straight forward job. ... Once set up it was never touched again until I did a preventative engine strip prior to a big adventure

I have fitted one, it’s been a good improvement, stronger looking spark and smoother performance to my mind – setting the timing static was not too hard and really not worse than if it were the original points. Just set up using a TDC gauge.
The instructions were poor but it’s not rocket science and as long as you take you’re time and are happy with the routing of the wires and positioning of the box of wizardry all will be well.
Take care to protect the very thin wires from the stator plate as these could rub on the points cover, I put a thin sleeve over them and filed the exit slot a little to allow for this.
I followed up the Ignition with a power box as well – much more stable electrics and no issues since these moods were carried out.
No down side so far although I have not ridden the bike for a few months as it is resting up in a VAC Bag until the weather improves.

Should be fit and forget and the product has a proven history… More importantly its easy to swap back if things don't work out.. Not that many do…

Only minus side is that points and condenser are easy to diagnose problems and a spare set is no hassle to carry on the bike….

If the Boyer fails on the road your stuffed..

Bryan, i was scratching around for a reason not to fit as asked by the op… That was all i could come up with…

Reckon its a good upgrade and yours is proof positive i would say…16 years is brilliant... cheers gwilly.
