Tuesday 2nd July: Next meeting of the South Lancs Branch at 7.30, Birch Hotel OL10 2QD. I'll be there early for a steak if the inspectors let us out of work on time... grumble grumble. Possible positive new developments to relate to those concerned.
The following Sunday, 7th June is the L.E. open day at Astley mining museum... just off the East Lancs. (On the LEFT if you are going out of Manchester towards Liverpool.) Always a good display of classic bikes of all sorts... not at all restricted to Velocettes. Everyone welcome and with food, toilets too. I'll be taking the sidecar I think. If in doubt, do it!
