Hi guys-------- I'm in the process of creating a "What-might-have-been" 1950's Army Despatch Riders bike for the Suez Canal period,(Hence it's in Desert sand colour), using a 500cc Classic 4-speed Bullet and based on the pictures on pages 113-114 in our hosts catalogue..The help I could do with is}---- Regimental serial markings etc............................. Do you lot know of any sites that list the markings, War Department Nos. etc for British Army vehicles ( motorcycles in particular) for this period and location ??....Technically I think I'm safe as I believe Enfield introduced the rear swing-arm idea in the 1950's ??
