My EFI Woodsman started to do some weird and wonderful things when it rained. When I put an indicator on, both front ones would flash at the same time and the rears would go out. Applying the front brake would put the rear light out and both rear indicators on! After much searching, I found that the rear of the back light cluster was being filled with spray from the real wheel through the hole which the wiring went through. This had corroded connectors and wires so much so that I had to make up a separate earth lead from rear light to battery. I've filled the hole with silicone and everything works well (touch wood!). If you have an EFI (and maybe a Lean Burn) check for this problem. A little preventative action may stop you being puzzled by strange earthing faults. All part of the rich tapestry of life with an Enfield!
