We have our GP ride today down to Philip Island about an hour from my place. Usually around 10.000 bikes, well organised chaos with bikes as far as you can see in both directions. It combines in with the Barry Sheen ride where people have ridden from Sydney about a 1000ks away. We have a mix of Enfields attending all twins as far as I know, I don't think any Bullets are coming

Sounds fantastic Norm. If I set off now from Hull do you think I could make it in time? I'll catch a ferry from here to Rotterdam, and then it's just a quick dash across the mainland until I find a port offering a ferry to Oz. I am on a 19 tooth sprocket so cruising at 65 shouldn't be a problem. I'm just finishing my pack up of jam sandwiches and I'll be away!

Riggers, best you just eat the sangers, you missed it by that much.Fantastic turnout, far too many Harleys and Jappers but the Enfield Club stood out amongst them, probably because of the fact nobody here had probably seen a number of Enfield twins in the one place ever before

Don't bother Riggers the weather at Phillip Island is the same as Britain, cold wet and miserable, eat your sarnies infront of your fire and watch it on TV.

Mike, dead right, I was thinking about all the campers down there on Friday night, raining and freezing cold about 8 degrees c but it is like that there at this time of the year, that is why they hold the GP then so they can use the tyre warmers
