Well, what a big surprise this event was! I thought it was going to be a tuppeny-happeny little show where you would have seen everything after half an hour and then moved on for a ride to somewhere else. Not so. We were there for getting on for four hours. The quality of the model railway engineering was stunning, and there was even a full-size replica of the "Catch Me Who Can" locomotive ticking over on its low loader. A great selection of steam vehicles, too, plus cars and bikes, all with owners who were real enthusiasts - all friendly and great people to chat to. But that's not all - there was free admission, free tea and coffee, free sandwiches, free cakes and even a commemorative mug! Alan R - please tell your mates at the Club that this Bulleteer really appreciates the friendly welcome. Thanks to you, too, for letting us know about this event, and for leading the way. (And for waiting for me while I filled up with petrol on the way to Quattford). Thanks also to Keith and Decca for pressing on to tell the others I was on my way. Tom
