So, to sum up, what is all comes down to is:- Royal Enfield motorcycles that are designed and built in India from Indian materials and with Austrian designed engines are actually "British" because A. They look "British". B. Some of the factory workforce are decendants of people that worked there 40 or 50 years ago, and C. Some of the steel joists in the factory were made in Birmingham. I see even the great British Dunlop tyres on mine are made in Japan. All we need now is a "made in England" sticker from China to complete the picture. PS Nick, its actually Glasgow, Scotland. At least a Chicken tikka Masala is British if not English. We're so cosmopolitan us Brits, but alas! at times so illogical too.
