Push Rod Order

I have googled this and looked at previous posts on here to no avail so Can someone confirm that push rods should be fitted with longest on exhaust side and shortest for inlet? This is for a 350 bullet but I assume the same for 500. Any refitting tips would also be gratefully accepted.
