Hi, I have what looks like the best part of a continental Gt 250. The engine number is GT17163, can’t quite make out the frame number, possibly; 72810 or 22810, would any of these be correct. If not what should it be, thanks.

Contact the REOC. They have the majority of the factory ledgers and can answer your question definitively and also provide some history (eg which dealer it was orginally despatched to etc).

I don't think 22810 is a valid GT number. Its not unusual for the frame numbers to be somewhat indistinct.

A bit out of date reply - but here goes anyway:

The engine number suggests a date of approx early 1966. The frame number [72810 rather than 22810] isn’t a perfect match to that engine number and suggests the frame would be dated approx late 1966.
