What is the width of the bars end to end excluding the bar end mirrors, measured from the tips of the rubber controls. In a straight line - not following contours of the bar. Mine is 27" which is considerably narrower than the standard clip-on set up and why I never bought one with the clip-ons. The control cables fit easily.

720mm, but all done and dusted now. Lifting the tank and re-routing the cables worked a treat.

Found out the forks needed dropping too, so did that lunchtime, all in all a good days work!

That's very neat, I'm glad the cabling just needed a quick disentangle to free up the necessary length.

Is it possible to flip the flat bits of the risers over so as the mount the bars behind the steering stem, or is the position pretty much fixed?

Hi Adrian, to be honest I am not sure, the instructions seemed to suggest not.
