Hi all,
Has anyone got a recommendation for replacement tyres for the 650 Interceptor? The OE made in Brazil Pirellis work well in the dry, but are horrible in the wet, sliding all over the place.
Cheers!
Mik.

Metzler and Bridgestone have a good reputation for wet road grip. Although, the Bullet coped well in the rain with Avons.
Take your pick.

From personal experience on an old GPz 750 (more power and weight) AM26's come in 18" sizes and are fine in the wet and also bridgestone BT023's on my more recent bikes are very much a fit and forget tyre in all weathers you car to throw at them (even a snow storm! ) but unsure if they are available in 18" 's

Interesting what's been said about the wet weather handling. I've not been caught yet but no doubt I will and shall take care.I don't ride in the wt unless I have to but am too mean to replace the standard tyres until they are worn. I didn't know the tyres are Brazillian either. I'm sure I had Pirellis on my Guzzi V7 and recall they were OK but no doubt not th same ones as the Interceptor.
