Iwent up one tooth, easy job, good access, chain was stretched
d enough to accommodate the larger sprocket. I can carry all the gears to a higher road speed (less shifting) rowing through the gearbox in traffic is no fun and this reduces the need. 4200 revs at seventy mph. Much more than that and the pigs will be lining up to loot you! well into the powerband and 53 mpg with the alcohol infested gas here in USSA.

Just went up 1 tooth on my 650. 3500 revs is a sweet spot and now the bike does 45 mph in 4th/55 in 5th/60in 6th gear. more usable ratios for the streets around here.
