It is a sealed and leak proof, maintenance free and supposedly ready to fir and use straight away. I compared it to one on another bike with weeping and connections. Made in China though.

It's still a lead-acid battery papsmurf, but with gel acid absorbed by fibreglass matting, (AGM) as far as I can tell, no runny acid to spill out.
