Just bought a 2011 C5 Classic. It will be getting a Dunstall style muffler and a K&N air filter. Has any one out there used the old trick of putting a resistor on the temp sending unit to fool the ECU by giving a false cold reading? If so, how much resistance did you use.

Just raise the TPS, throttle position sensor, voltage.
Normally it set at 0.6v +/- 0.2v.
Loosen the sensor screw and rotate the sensor to raise the voltage.
This will richen up your mixture all the way through the rev range.
Not sure how this would work if you still have the lambda sensor fitted though as it will try to lean out the mixture again?

Removed the muffler yesterday and noted the head pipe was heavily sooted. May not need to mess with mixture after all. Thanks for the response.
