Just bought a 1954 clipper, 20000 original miles , will give it complete strip and rebuild although motor and gearbox are in good shape. The wiring is a mess and this model has no ammeter, so would be first model I think, does anyone have acess to a wiring diagram

Is this an alternator model? Do you plan sticking with 6V or upgrading to 12V?

Its the model with magdyno set up, 1954 early model with no ammeter, I will stick with 6volt. All the wiring diagrams ive seen are for model with ammeter

Hi, just use whatever diagram you have and omit the ammeter. Vince
