Hi, can you tell me what is minimum oil level iron cast bullet 500 can run without making damage to machine too fast?
I was on a ride and when came back home I realised oil level was bellow minimum level on dipstick. After few measurement dipstick was completey dry although after one meauserment there was a little drop of oil at the end of dipstick.
Really paranoid since I got my motorcycle back after engine rebuild.
Thanks

If it's not making any unusual noises, I'd just top it right up and not worry about it.
But keep a more regular check on the oil level!
I check mine every time before every first start of the day.

If you want peace of mind it may be worth checking the oil filter. If there's no metallic dandruff then all is ok.

A loss of a little more than 1 litre will drop the level off the dipstick, any more, and the engine will begin to overheat.
I had a thermometer with the probe through the oil reservoir drain plug. On one ride, the temperature suddenly started to move the indicator swiftly across the dial, so I cut the engine and coasted to a stop.
A kind lady in a utility pulled up and offered to go back and buy two litres of 20/50 for me. It took a whole litre and a bit more from the second bottle to bring it up the to the top mark on the dipstick.

I checked how much oil was missing. After adding 300 ml of oil there is now a little over half of the oil on dipstick. So it should be ok right? 300 ml of oil can't make that much difference?
