When I turn on the ignition on my 2019 Himalayan it momentarily displays a strange selection of letters / figures where the odo / time etc appear at the bottom of the speedo :

C-5362
P-3.1

This is before it shows all "8's" and sets itself to the normal display.
Has anyone else experienced this? If so, any ideas as to what it is ? I wondered if it maybe a fault code but I can't find any information in the owner's manual.

Yes mine does the same I just took it as the software signature and didnt think much harder about it .
Much less annoying than the random direction generator of a compass lol

Mine does the same, the compass does like to recalibrate at times but you have to remember the centre letter is the heading you are traveling the little triangle is north I have checked it against the compass in my sat nav and its not to bad as long as its not playing the recalibration game

The compasses will remain confused about which direction they are going until the 29th of March. Hopefully, they will have sorted themselves out by then.
