How do I set up the valve lifter on my Model G Enfield (1946).

Where does the cable attach??

Hi Squizzy, hopefully there is a photo attached which may help explain, but the cable just comes through the side of the barrel and the nipple of the cable just drops into the actual lifter, its a bit easier to see when looking at the actual part

Probably more questions to come as I restore the mortal remains of my G project.
Info and parts not so easy to get in Australia.
