Anyone heard of a 5spd albion box we have a 3 gear cluster with the sleeve that the gearbox chain spkt fits this hsa a bronze bushing possible vincent or manx norton, hearsay this thing looks like it has never been used, didnt albion make gearboxes for lathes. ?

Hi Scotty, I think some of the Crusader Sports or GT's had the 5 speed Albion, but I believe they were a bit problematic, I have never seen one and a mate of mine knows somebody with, I thought he said it was a drill press with an Albion gearbox, I haven't seen that either

To get the 5 spd in the crusaders box the gears were a lot thinner these gears are about same size as 500 bullets, the plot thickens.
