There are weight limits on ALL motorcycle luggage carriers no matter what the make of bike. However few people know them and if they do they ignore them mostly.
Top box six kilos, panniers 12 kilos each.

Hi, is that manufacturers recommendation or a legal requirement? Vince

This is no help with the original question, probably best to give them a call or drop them an email. However, I generally find motorcycle luggage comes with comically restrictive weight and speed limits. I suspect our hosts are a bit more sensible but my answer would be to perform a dynamic risk assessment each time you pack your bike and if you feel handling has been adversely affected, adjust your riding style or re-pack accordingly.

The renntec sports rack on my VFR750 has a label on stating it should have no more than 2.5kg on it (so pretty much my smallest 1 man tent and 4 bungees). It's had a 25kg bag of coal on it before today.

A 35 litre givi monolock top box quotes the maximum load as 3kg... 3kg!? That's less than some padlock and chain sets.

My ortelib panniers state a maximum riding speed of 50mph when fitted.
