Hi , I have a 2016 uce at the rear of engine.about level with the ex pipe I have a raised bosseach side of crankcase, gearbox, is there supposed to be a bolt in this hole looks about 8mm. Seems daft to cast a boss for nothing, no oil leaks (something wrong lol).

Its nothing to worry about, this boss should not have a bolt/stud fitted when the engine is in the bike, I imagine this is just for use during assembly at the factory.
