Sorry if this seems a bit sad but I've just looked at the owners manual for the Euro 4 Classic. This gives a max payload of 95kg whereas my Euro 3 has a max payload of 178kg. 95 is far too low and wouldn't accommodate even a tiny pillion. When I asked my local dealer I was met with disinterest and a comment of "must be a typo". I'm sure an insurance company when faced with a claim or the boys in blue wouldn't accept that excuse if there were 2- 13 stone people on the bike and it was involved in an accident. I wonder why so low? I'm only just inside that on my own and it wouldn't allow for any luggage when touring,. Perhaps someone with a paper manual for a Euro 4 could confirm or check their VIN plate.
