Hi folks

I've got a new plate that rivets onto the timing case on my Super Meteor which comes with new rivets.

I can get a feeler gauge behind the old so I should be able to get it off but do the rivets go right through?

Should I be able to ease them out or are they likely to need drilling?

They are an interference fit in a blind hole, they don't go all the way through. I use a small set of Mole grips to get the old ones out but they might just lever off.
