The one that’s come out has an oil hole in it, corresponding to a matching hole in the kickstart spindle. New part doesn’t have the hole. It seems good practice to have the hole, any reason why there isn’t one in the part as supplied?

Ignore Leon, he thinks it's funny. Holes usually drilled after bush is fitted, it would be difficult to get the alignment right otherwise! REgards, Mark

Try heating the case and stuffing some ice, dry ice, or even ice-cold water down the bush, somewhat similar to fitting them, where the bush is put in the refrigerator, and the case is put in the oven. If you are lucky, tappipg the case will cause the bush to fall out; if not, it`s a hacksaw or chisel slot, and chop it out.

It`s advisable, if working in a garage,to not let the customer watch as you chop it out.
