Hello.
I have a Continental Gt 535 and the rear Pirelli tyre it came with has worn out (in only 4000 miles!). Has anyone tried the Avon AM26 as sold by our hosts? I would like to hear your comments if you've tried them.
Philip.

I replaced the oe Pirellis with AM26s. I find them to be okay. It took a wee while to trust them owing to memories of Roadrunners back in the day(altho' I am about 40 years more old and sedate now). My oe rear was also finished by 4000 and the AM26 is needing replaced now at 9000, so it lasted 25% longer.

Philip.
One of my other bikes is a Kawasaki Triple - an H2 750. I use AM26's on that bike and they are fine.
Also used to use them on the KH 500 and the T140 that I used to have, I have also fitted a set to my 612 Bullet that I recently re acquired.
IMHO they give decent mileage, and give good grip, not too expensive - I certainly would not hesitate. Go for it.

Thanks for your help KC1961 and AndyC.
I think I will go for it, they are quite a bit cheaper.
