I'm sure our hosts have included proper instructions in the kit.

Meanwhile, if you want some spannering while you're at it, and your EFI is an earlier one with threaded fork tops (pre 2012), how about one our hosts' twin-clock alloy yokes to go with it?

If you mean the Smiths electronic kit, then yes. If could fit it, it shouldn't be an overwhelming task. Providing reliable service more than a decade, now.I can't remember how did I wire it (from where), I may have notes somewhere...
The gauge will probably last longer than the bike and can be fitted to engines up to twelve cylinders.

A personal opinion, and please disregard it as you wish, but having a full-size rev counter as an external bolt-on extra to the headlamp casquette speedo just looks odd, which is why I suggested one of these from our hosts...

A less expensive solution which I have seen very neatly done would be to replace the ammeter with a 51mm electronic rev counter, needs a few minutes work with a die grinder/flapwheel to open out the ammeter hole in the casquette.

The worst I have seen is a poor Electra-X with twin clocks mounted on Meccanoâ„¢ brackets screwed to what looks like a piece of plywood stuffed into the original casquette. Its owner has been meaning to put it back to standard ever since he bought the bike.
