Just to start hope everybody has a happy new year now l have a euro4 2017 bullet as l have said before in top gear at 70 mph in full throttle it flats out but if throttle back to three quarters it seems to run up to 78 mph but slowly wondered if any body out there has one of these and has same problem or are yours ok dealer is very good tries his best but has not. come across this before some thought about fitting gold star silencer more open inside let gasses out quicker but any indies SHOULD not have to spend a lot of money on a brand new bike that was the idear of buying it in the first place but l did buy from the worst dealer in Britain which l found out the hard way l now have a brillent dealer thanks for reading one of you might have the cure cheers for now

I have a 2017 euro 4 bullet and mine is just the same, quick enough thru the traffic lights but dying at 70 mph at full throttle, close throttle to three 3/4 s and you might be lucky to get to 80 mph, So I invested in a gold star silencer, strait thru front pipe, lambda sensor eliminator kit, and pneumatic air injection eliminator kit, So I now have a bike that goes up to 80 mph no problem and operates at full throttle with no hesitation, the thing that made the most difference was the lambda sensor eliminator, but this alone would need the strait thru exhaust to be most effective, and I have increased my MPG but well worth it.

Charlie Bob, all parts available from Hitchcocks, The lambda sensor measures unburnt fuel going into the exhaust and when it senses this it weakens the fuel going into the engine, more so at half to full throttle openings so engine performance is stifled by the lambda sensor, the reasoning behind this is to stop unburnt fuel (seen as black smoke from the exhaust ) going into the atmosphere, eliminate the lambda sensor and engine operates at a fixed level at all throttle openings, thus increasing performance, the front exhaust pipe on these euro 4 bullets has an cat in the pipe plus a restrictor plate, these both restrict performance, So a strait thru front pipe + silencer of choice, the gold star model makes a lovely sound, and this allows exhaust gases to flow much quicker and easier down the exhaust pipe thus increasing performance, the pneumatic air eliminator kit stops popping and banging in the exhaust on closing throttle, myself a pop and bang in the exhaust while passing the bus queue is about right.

Haggis that was great what you said about fitting lambda sensor elimator. On my B5 euro4 bullet 2017 l got in touch with hichcocks they never fit these on my type of bike and they do not stock them so unles you or anybody else out there has more information l think l will change standard silence for a gold star which as it happened that is what hitchcocks reqamended cheers for now
