Hi folks, I know we are usually trying to find out why our volts are not reaching the place they are supposed to but, have any of you had the problem of around 5amps current draw on an EFI with everything (supposedly) turned off? Battery is good - 1 year old paste battery from our host, if you charge it and leave it disconnected it stays charged forever (as it were) but when charged and left conected it will drain flat in 24 or so hours. As I say when checked with a fluke professional (in calibration) meter is pulling 5a even when the key is not in. Regards Ray.

Disconnect the regulator/rectifier and see if still has a drain.

Yep, if it's not showing a drain on the ammeter the reg/rec is the probable culprit.
